What is Scentsy's new ScenTrend?
We know Scentsy lovers are passionate about fragrance, so Scentsy developed ScenTrend to help our customers stay on top of the latest trends and have unlimited mixing potential. Scentsy tested, analyzed, and worked with their experts and international fragrance houses to identify the up-and-coming fragrance note for 2012 — Pink Pepper. Scentsy will develop a new ScenTrend fragrance each year, and Pink Pepper debuts as the ScenTrend for 2012.
The ScenTrend fragrance Pink Pepper is intended to give a fresh and feisty, short-term burst of fragrance when mixed with anther existing Scentsy scent with the ScenTrend logo. You will recognize the Pink Pepper in your scent, creating a unique twist to the existing Scentsy scent. Pink Pepper is not designed to be warmed by itself, but is an excellent mixer and adds a deeper warm and spicy element to a Scentsy scent of your choice.
What does Pink Pepper smell like?
Pink Pepper is definitely not a wallflower! It’s a complex, multidimensional fragrance—both sweet and spicy, with a bit of floral mixed in. You’ll find it in gourmand fragrances and floral fragrances because it’s ideal for mixing; it adds depth and character while it stimulates the senses. Pink Pepper is provocative and daring, and brings a sense of adventure and empowerment. Its exotic, warm, and spicy nature conveys a take-charge attitude and a sense of renewed energy. Pink Pepper is a perfect way to give some zip and zest to 2012.
Where does pink pepper come from?
The pink pepper scent is distilled from the dark pink berries of the Peruvian pepper tree. It’s not a peppercorn, but the berries are traditionally used in cooking in South America. They have a dry, spicy, and fresh aroma with hints of angelica and juniper. Pink pepper grows wild in South America, but you can find it in the United States. In fact, if you live in Southern California or Florida, you might have some in your backyard and not even know it!
How can I use Pink Pepper to enhance my home fragrance experience?

If you are looking for an on-the-go Scentsy product that can bring a great smelling fragrance to a purse, a gym bag, car, closet, drawer or some other item, then you need a Scentsy Scent pak. Since there introduction, these Scent Paks have proven to be a popular addition to the Scentsy portfolio of products. Scent Paks were were originally designed to accompany the Scentsy Buddy products. Scent Paks are placed inside the Scentsy Buddy and have a long life and strong fragrance. Each scent pak is made of cloth on the one side and a type of mesh fabrid on the other with the scented beads on the inside. Now, scent paks also have a little hang tag on the top left side of the scent pak that didn't seem terribly necessary initially but has proven super handy!
Every new purchase of a Scentsy Buddy comes with your choice of any of the more than 50 fragrances of scent paks available. Since their launch, the amount of fragrances available in scent paks has been expanded so the odds are great that you'll be able to find the perfect scent pak fragrance. Ever since their launch, customers have really found ingenius ways to use scent paks beyond the original use with Scentsy Buddies. Some customers like to place a scent pak in a dresser drawer to help keep the clothes smelling nice and fresh. Other customers have, along the same lines, taken scent paks with them on trips in their luggage. Join the Scentsy Team and Become a Consultant
When you decide to start a Scentsy business there are a few things you need to know. First, you will be called a "Scentsy Consultant" which is why you see this term used a lot by other people who have Scentsy businesses. Basically, you're a Scentsy Rep, a Scentsy Distributor, or a Scentsy Dealer... same thing. You are an independent consultant with Scentsy and not actually employed by Scentsy. In simpler terms, you are signing up to be able to sell Scentsy products for a commission.
Signing Up With Scentsy
You can sign up with Scentsy for $99 plus tax and shipping charges and Scentsy will send you a Starter Kit. The Scentsy Starter Kit will include some Scentsy products as well as business tools for you such as business cards, brochures, catalogs, and even a personalized website where customers can place orders. This website is located on the Scentsy domain (you can view mine by clicking on the "shop online" links or by clicking here). The website is free for 3 months when you sign up and only $10 a month after that if you want to continue to use it. All of the items in the Scentsy Starter Kit are designed to help you learn about all of the Scentsy products and to become a successful consultant and be able to start selling Scentsy right away.
Pick the Best Scentsy Sponsor
The next step is very important if you really want to run a successful Scentsy business and make money. When you sign up with Scentsy you are signed up with a sponsor. If you sign up through my website, then I will be your Scentsy Sponsor and will help you have success as a Scentsy Consultant. The sponsor is there to help you build your business. Let me teach you about the business, how to talk to customers, and how to plan the months ahead, and how to make a plan for your Scentsy business that will work for you. It's all free...so make sure you utilize me as your Scentsy sponsor as your best resource.
A good Scentsy Sponsor is much more important than I realized when I signed up. I lucked out and love my sponsor, and love working with her, but that's not always the case for some. Choose a sponsor who loves Scentsy and is proud of what they do and passionate about both the products and the business opportunity offered so they can help you. There's no reason to do this on your own! Find a Consultant who has been running a Scentsy business for awhile and who have been successful help you do the same. There's so much to love about Scentsy and so much to learn from a great Scentsy sponsor!

How Do I Change Scentsy Sponsors?
I get asked how to switch a Scentsy Sponsor often, so I'll include this here too... if you sign up to sell Scentsy and you don't like your sponsor, you never hear from her, or you just don't work together well, it's really hard to switch. Basically, you have to contact Scentsy to have your account cancelled, then go completely inactive (sell nothing) for 6 months more and re-enroll under a new Sponsor of your choice. Definitely something to think about.
