Booking Blitz

Want a great way to boost your own and your team's Scentsy sales?  A Scentsy booking blitz is a great way to kick off a new month, and get your team engaged as well.  It can help to ensure you're paid at your Scentsy title (by having enough personal and team sales), or can even help you reach a new promotion.

So, let's talk about a Scentsy BOOKING BLITZ!!!  It is basically a time limit you set for yourself to intentionally set time aside to book as many Scentsy parties as you can during that time.  You can take a whole day, or focus it down to an intense push, like 30 minutes.  The important thing is to make yourself make those personal phone calls and fill up your calendar.  You can book any type of Scentsy party:  Scentsy basket party, Scentsy home party, online Scentsy party, a Scentsy fundraiser, etc.

Here's how a Scentsy Booking Blitz works:
1.  Decide on your time limit (all day one day, or focused 20-30 minute type blitz event)
2.  Set the number of bookings for your booking blitz goal (very important - then you know what you're aiming for!)
3.  Get out your List of 100
4.  Add to that list all Scentsy customers, hosts, and anyone who loves Scentsy, or would love something in the new catalog!
5.  Contact them one by one (call - no mass text or emails!!)

Don't Be Afraid of "No"

Be brave and ask EVERYONE - don't be afraid of getting a no!  You're offering the chance for them to see and show the new Scentsy products to their friends first and get free Scentsy products.

If they don't want to host a Scentsy party, they just say no, just like the waitress in the restaurant offering coffee.  Nobody is offended or awkward, they just aren't interested. You don't have to talk anyone into it; they either want to or not and you're looking for those who would love to!!  So... ready, set, BOOK those Scentsy parties!!!

Use YouTube to Grow a Business

There are so many great ways to build and grow your Scentsy Business, and one that is very powerful is to use social media outlets, including YouTube.  It is such a great tool, and can help grow your Scentsy business.  YouTube videos are also helpful to allow your business to continue to grow and reach outside your circle.

There are many ways to maximize your YouTube channel to make Scentsy videos and grow your Scentsy business, so I wanted to share what I have learned here with you!

WHY Use YouTube for Scentsy?

No cost

•  YouTube is FREE to create a channel and upload videos.  Every Scentsy consultant can afford it, and the business investment risk is very minimal.

Expand Your Network

• YouTube can expand your Scentsy reach.  It can help you find other customers, hosts, and potential Scentsy recruits you wouldn't know otherwise.  This way you can continue to expand your Scentsy business beyond your friends and family.

Personal Touch

• YouTube videos are personal; you can be YOU and attract those similar to you as customers or new Scentsy team members (this will make you more successful, and you'll enjoy your Scentsy business so much more than trying to work with those not similar to you).

Search Engines

• YouTube is owned by Google, and they like to give preference to videos when someone searches for a topic. If you've created a video, Google can suggest it in a search much easier than getting a website up to the top!

Share Information

• Making videos are a good way to tell everyone everything you've always wanted to share or teach.  Often we don't have time or ability to share it all at a Scentsy party, or with customers, or even on facebook.

Evergreen Content

• Recording a YouTube video creates an easy, permanent way to explain something or refer to it later.  For instance, you could make a video once, and use it over and over in a facebook party, or have a link to send to a Scentsy host explaining what a party will be like for your hosts, etc.

Recruiting Tool

• Your YouTube channel and videos are a SUPER recruiting tool. Viewers can see how YOU are (see comment above) and be drawn to join Scentsy, so be authentic and encouraging. Let them know you WANT them to join, and you will be their mentor, sponsor, cheerleader, and biggest supporter. Everyone likes to know they won't be alone.  Your videos can help them know if you would be a good fit as their sponsor. 

YouTube Tips to grow your Scentsy business:

Link in video description

Make sure you list your Scentsy website in the descriptions of your videos.  That way, anyone can easily buy products directly or join your Scentsy team while they watch your YouTube video.

Use keywords

Give your Scentsy YouTube videos a good keyword specific name, so Google can find your Scentsy videos, and those searching on YouTube can find your relevant videos too.

Pin the video to Pinterest

When you make a Scentsy video, pin it on your Scentsy Pinterest board to make that link stronger (Google likes that).  That also increase your chances for being seen when someone searches for Scentsy information.

Create Playlists

Create YouTube Scentsy playlists and make videos along different topics.  You could show Scentsy products in real life, and your quick review of a Scentsy product, explain how to use the product.  Other helpful videos could be information to help your team, or tips for other consultants. Another idea is to share how Scentsy blesses your life or works into your life. 

Really, you can talk about anything you want to share about Scentsy!  Your simple tips can help another consultant, and help boost your business too. 

Keep videos short

Keep your Scentsy videos short (5-15 minutes) and people will be a lot more likely to watch them. It's better to make MORE videos specific to one thing, than fewer videos that are longer in duration.  Remember, you don't have to explain all of the things at once, take them one step at a time in each video.

Personal image

You don't have to look perfect to make a Scentsy video on YouTube, it should be a reflection of your unique personality.  The more they can get to know you and recognize your personal brand, the more you'll grow.  One side note is to be you, but make sure you're a bit professional as well.  For instance, don't use offensive words or wear immodest clothing, etc.  

Smile

The most important thing is your SMILE!!  Be positive, happy, and upbeat and others will be drawn to you.  They will want to buy the Scentsy you recommend, will want to host a party with you, or even join your Scentsy team, thanks to your Scentsy videos on YouTube!
