Scentsy Warmers Sizes

Since Scentsy begun, it has introduced multiple sizes of Warmers that fit into different rooms in your home as well as different sizes of homes. The Nightlight Warmers (the warmers that plug directly into the wall) are a favorite size for bathrooms in the US and Canada while the new Element Warmers were an instant hit for bedrooms where you want the benefit of a Scentsy Warmer but also don't want the light from an original Scentsy Warmer. Scentsy Buddy Spotlight:  Mollie the Monkey

This adorable monkey is part of the Scentsy Buddy Collection.

During the signup process you'll need to select a URL for your website so be thinking of that. The URL of your website will look like this - https://WhateverYouWant.scentsy.us - so the part in Italics is the part that you can customize. The ending - the .us - depends on what country you are in and so it will reflect that.

2. Set a Goal for Scentsational Start

Make a Goal To Earn Scentsational Start Level 3. 

One of the single greatest indicators of success as a Scentsy Consultant is earning Scentsational Start. The odds of being successful as a Scentsy Consultant increases dramatically if you get your hustle on and earn Scentsational Start in your first 70 days.

To earn Level 3 you'll need to sell 2,500 in PRV and help 6 new team members be active.

Here is a breakdown of the different Scentsational Start Levels.  A consultant can only earn Scentsational Start awards in their first 70 days. (BTW - "Active" means they've sold 200 PRV in one month)

In addition to the awesome start you'll give your business, you'll also:

1. 1. Receive $200 FREE Product Credit! So you'll be able to spend $200 on your favorite Scentsy products for FREE!
   2. A Certificate of Achievement
   3. A Lapel Pin
   4. Recognition at Scentsy Events
   5. A Scentsational Start paperweight
   6. You'll receive a permanent 5% pay raise so you'll earn 25% commission on every Scentsy product you sell for the rest of forever! And if you sell over 2,000 in PRV in one month you'll earn 30%!

As a Scentsy Consultant I get asked from time to time whether Scentsy is a scam or not.  It's natural for some people to be skeptical and to question every opportunity.  It's smart to do your research.  But, no Scentsy is definitely not a scam.

Scentsy is Direct Sales

First a little history.  Scentsy is a Direct Sales company based out of Meridian, Idaho and owned by Orville and Heidi Thompson.  It is only 7 years old, but already there are over 149,000 independent sales representatives just like me, running home-based businesses currently in the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico, and parts of Europe (Germany, and the United Kingdom for now).  All Scentsy wax is made at the manufacturing facilities in Meridian, Idaho or France, and are designed with exact specifications... so make sure you are buying authentic Scentsy products.  You'll know Scentsy products when you smell them!

Scentsy Awards

Scentsy was awarded the 2009 Direct Sales Associaltion (DSA) first ever Rising Star Award which is given to the DSA member company that showed the most remarkable growth, while demonstrating adherence to the DSA's code of Ethics.  Scentsy also received the DSA Success Award for 2010 and just received  the Success Award again in 2011.  Scentsy is also listed as the Fastest Growing Consumer Goods company according to the Inc. 500 list.  Scentsy is making a big splash and setting records on every turn.  When you join Scentsy, you know your team will grow and your potential is limitless!

Party Plan Model

The Scentsy business model is a Direct Sales company, set up as a Party Plan, and not a pyramid scheme or MLM company as some assume.  Your success is based on your efforts and your team performance, with equal opportunity for the very newest Scentsy Consultant to be just as successful as the most seasoned Scentsy Consultant.  We receive commissions every month on every sale we make, and have the chance to get paid on the Consultants in our team for as long as they are Consultants!  The most common way to grow a Scentsy business is to work with a host to have a party, but Scentsy Consultants are also allowed to sell at fairs and shows, online, as a fundraiser, etc. We are paid fairly and treated with respect by everyone at the Home Office in Meridian, Idaho. Further proving that Scentsy is not a scam, Scentsy makes their money on the products we as Scentsy reps sell, not on fees, dues, or any automatically-renewing minimum sales requirements (because there aren't any!).

Scentsy is Not a Pyramid Scheme

Often there is a misconception about Direct Sales, and people assume it's the same as a pyramid scheme.  A "pyramid" or "ponzi" scheme in a legal sense is a fraudulent arrangement where Consultants pay money to join, but there are no actual sales or products to buy.  The compensation of pyramid schemes is driven solely by the cost of recruits to sign up.

Direct sales companies are not pyramid schemes. Direct sales companies use a distribution model that is different than a traditional corporation; however, it is still completely legal and valid.  In Scentsy (or Amway, Nuskin or any other direct sales company), every dollar sold is distributed between sales consultants (commission), upline (in form of upline commission) and corporate. While the model is different from a traditional corporation, it is completely legal and is just a different method of distributing profits.  So, is Scentsy a pyramid scheme?  Absolutely not.

Scentsy is Not a Scam

I love being a Scentsy Consultant.  It is such a unique company with a wonderful product, that is truly changing lives all around.  No, Scentsy is definitely not a scam.  There is no catch or fine print.  In my 3 1/2 years as a Scentsy Consultant, I have never seen anything that would make me quit or doubt the company in the least bit.  It's actually quite the opposite; I'm hooked!  Scentsy will be an amazing part of the rest of my life.  I know you'll love it and hope you'll join Scentsy with me.  With such a unique, amazing company, you can't help but follow in its footsteps and with a little effort, be successful with Scentsy too.

Scentsy Europe Convention 2011 in the UK!

Oh how I love Scentsy Convention and I am so excited that the new Consultants in Scentsy Europe will be able to join in!  In August, Scentsy Europe Convention will be held in Nuremberg, Germany and in Surrey, England (near London).  Scentsy's annual Convention is one of the best things a Scentsy Consultant can do to build his/her business quickly, and provide the tools, motivation, and vision for what their Scentsy business really can be.  Get to know Scentsy and see its core values shining through in everything about Convention.  I knew I was absolutely in the right place with Scentsy when I went to my first Scentsy Convention in 2008.  I knew I loved the products, but it was at Convention that I fell in love with the company.

Scentsy Europe Convention Details

Scentsy is holding Scentsy’s first-ever European convention this summer.  Registration is open to Region 2 Consultants (UK & Germany) on the U.K. and German Workstations. Consultants can register right from their Events tab. Region 2 Consultants may register for either the Convention in Germany or the Convention in the U.K.  Region 1 Consultants will be able to register (including APO military members operating in Europe) starting in July, to give plenty of room to allow all Scentsy Consultants from the UK and Germany to attend.  Scentsy is offering a payment plan and has lowered the cost for the Scentsy Europe Convention to better accommodate all Consultants who would like to join.

Scentsy UK launch successful

Scentsy expanded into Europe, starting with the UK and Germany.  Other countries in Europe will soon follow most likely, but Scentsy wanted to start with a "soft launch" to grow organically and virally, as it has grown since it started seven years ago in the United States and Canada.  The Scentsy products and business opportunity are being received very well and is growing at an alarming rate, especially in the United Kingdom. In fact, Scensy UK is growing at about three times the anticipated pace since it officially opened one month ago.  How exciting and what great news!
